We are still very much in the Alpha stage of development, but I’ve had fun playing with a demo version of the site this last week. It’s full of bugs and annoying error messages, but I’ve got to admit it’s pretty cool seeing this thing move from my head to my screen. This week we are implementing some of the community tools like member profiles and what we’re calling a “Hello Button” that allows you to find other users who share your travel interests. A lot of you have told me you’re eager to start exploring the site and I hope to send out an Alpha version 1.0 next week. This will be sent to a very small group of testers, so please be patient if you have to wait for a more robust version in the upcoming weeks. It’s worth the wait…trust me.
