Kurt Vonnegut was a prolific American novelist most famous for his book Slaughterhouse-Five. As a storyteller, he knew that travel was about the experience not the destination. Telling your friends about the museums and monuments everyone else has seen doesn’t make for a good story. And isn’t that what travel is really about…the story?
