Seurasaari Christmas Path (Joulupolku) is a free pre-Christmas event offering a glimpse into the fairy-tale world of old-time Christmas. There are 28 different events along the Christmas Path this year, including Christmas, story-telling, horse cart driving, a candle path, and a slow-burning log fire.

The Christmas trees erected on the island await children’s Christmas decorations and the elves hiding along the Path hand out gingerbread and cinnamon buns. Children are even encouraged tor bring their own plate and spoon for the rice pudding they will receive. The highlight of course is the arrival of Father Christmas (it’s a relatively quick trip from the North Pole) and the opportunity for children to express their gift wishes. The Seurasaari Christmas Path is Christmas the way you’ve always imagined it to be.
