Joobili is a finalist (again). This time we’ll be pitching our business to a room full of  travel industry execs and investors at the Travel Distribution Summit in London next week. Only four startups were chosen as finalist so it’s already a real honor for us to be invited to London. Our congrats also go out to the other finalists: Tourdust, Zoombu, and TravelWhere. We know the guys over at Tourdust and Zoombu pretty well and they are great people with cool ideas so we are up against some strong teams. Each team is assigned a mentor whose role is to advocate for the investment potential of our company. We were really lucky in getting matched with Hugo Burge who is the Executive Chairman of Cheapflights. He’s already given us solid feedback, particularly regarding some of our financial forecasts and investor strategies. Regardless of if we win next week it should be good fun and the extra exposure for Joobili never hurts.
