The crazyiness of running a startup is really starting to set in. For us that means trying to juggle all kinds of exciting opportunities (I know, I shouldn’t be complaining) and for you that means we need to hire more people. If you are a good writer and enjoy traveling then you qualify. If only all jobs were that easy.

A few things that are cool about this job:

  • Write about Europe’s coolest festivals and events.
  • No need to follow a strict style guide, just be yourself.
  • Work from anywhere with an internet connection: home, beach, workplace (not really), school, wherever.
  • Flexible hours…could be 40 hrs could be 4 hrs per week, it’s up to you.

A couple things that suck about this job:

  • No free trips to visit  festivals and events.
  • No getting rich from this job. Frankly the pay isn’t the best. We can offer a little more money for experienced writers and people who can work longer hours, but we’re still a startup and until we get rich, you won’t get rich.

Please spread the word to your writer friends. Drop us an email introducing yourself:  jobs@joobili.com

    1) Presumably if a writer can fix a free trip off the back of saying they’ll get copy published on Joobili that’s OK?
    2) We won’t get rich until you do… OK… so when you do… (if you do) what happens then?
    3) What are your guidelines regarding republishing stuff that has been published elsewhere?
    Cheers

    Good questions Jeremy:
    1) If you can fix a free trip in exchange for copy on Joobili good for you. In fact, we had a few offers for comp. hotels that we’d be happy to pass along.
    2) Believe me, I wish I knew when we will get rich;) Seriously though, we aren’t expecting people to work for free, just want to set expectations low. Actual pay will vary according to experience.
    3) Original content is best, but republishing stuff isn’t a big concern for us as long as the original source doesn’t mind.
